Benedict Munz is a documentary filmmaker and audiovisual media designer based between Italy and Germany.

With a background in sound engineering and many years of freelance experience, his work moves between documentary film, artistic video, and music-related projects. He is interested in people, places, and cultural contexts, as well as in the social, political, and aesthetic layers that shape everyday life.

His projects are rooted in classic documentary approaches and research-based preparation, combining careful observation with visual storytelling and a strong attention to sound, atmosphere, and rhythm. He works independently and in small teams, developing films and video works across different formats and production contexts.

Alongside filmmaking, photography plays a complementary role in his practice, serving as a tool for visual research and reflection.
